Timber frame construction offers our clients huge advantages over traditional brick, block and steel systems.

The lightweight construction and millimeter accuracy of a timber frame allows our clients to build a structural framework faster - saving our client time and money. And not only does the structural framework of a timber frame take shape quicker, but it's wind and water-tight quicker, allowing internal work to begin much earlier in the construction programme.

Our specialist timber frame constructions can also offer far higher levels of thermal performance - allowing our clients to meet the very latest in building regulations.

We constantly use the latest in design software and our own expertise in the design and manufacture of engineered timber products in order to push the boundaries of timber engineering and panel design.

Our expert in house design team certifies and provides detailed presentation design calculations and construction drawings. All of which meet with current British and European standards and building regulations.

We offer our clients open and closed panel construction using external wall thickness ranging from 95mm to 300mm. We can expertly engineer and construct panels to almost any shape or size and can even manufacture panels in excess of 9 meters high.

Timber Frame Structures

We offer a wide range of panel products including:

  • Open panel construction using 95mm or 140mm structural treated softwood studs
  • Open panel construction using EWP with stud withs of 200mm,220mm,241mm and 302mm
  • Closed panel construction using softwood or EWP studs, fully insulated to the architect's specification
  • Timber or EWP infill timber frame panel integrating with steel framed structures
  • Timber or EWP infill panels integrated with Glulam post or portal structures

Timber frame systems offer the design flexibility to be utilised in all sorts of applications and situations and have commonly been used within the domestic market, in the construction of private dwellings and multi-storey developments.

However the advantages of building with timber frame systems are fast being acknowledged by architects and construction professionals working within the public sector to build schools, hospitals, sporting facilities and commercial buildings.

CROSS LAMINATED TIMBER

Cross Laminated Timber

Perfect for the modern home or public building, our Cross Laminated Structural Timber (CLT) panels offer our clients panels that are functional, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing.

While aesthetically pleasing, it's the many additional advantages of CLT panels that make them an attractive proposition to today's construction professionals.

Used extensively across Europe, CLT panels act as a structural diaphragm and breathable building membrane. Easy to construct, CLT panels also provide thermal and sound insulation and increase the fire resistance of the finished construction, having achieved a '90 minute fire rating'.

Our Cross Laminated Timber Panels are designed and manufactured to the highest possible standards. Our PEFC structural panels meet current UK building regulations, have European technical approval and are designed to EC5 standards.

Our Cross Laminated Timber panels are available, flat packed, for the building of an entire construction or for individual roof, wall or floor elements. And are available in a range of lengths and thicknesses.

We are also able to supply wall elements with pre-cut door or window openings.
