In order to supply our clients with structural metalwork of the highest possible quality, Donaldson and McConnell have partnered with two leading metal building products manufacturers in the UK.

Specialist Steel Work:
We have our own in house steel fabrication facility that produces specialised brackets and hangers. We can produce this specialised steel work to meet specifications outlined in existing engineering drawings supplied by our clients. Or we can work with you to design specialist steel work certified by our in house expert engineers.
All fabrication work is produced by fully certified welders and our steel products are finished to the highest possible standard.
Specialist steelwork products available include:
- Heavy duty truss hangers with steel thickness 3mm to 20mm
- Specialist metalwork for glulam connections
- Flitch beams
- Universal beams, channel and square hollow sections for lintels and posts
- Steel portals and columns
- Steel and stainless steel tie rods
- Balcony railings
- Gates and fencing
And our finished steel products can be coated with oxide paint, galvanised or, if specified, an epoxy fire coating.
