Formed in 1991, near Grangemouth, Scotland, Donaldson and McConnell are a market leader in the design, supply and erection of complex timber and glulam roof structures.

Originally formed after a management buy out of glulam importers Swedspan UK, Donaldson and McConnell has continued to import and distribute glulam products to timber suppliers throughout the UK and Ireland. And, over the years, we've used our industry expertise to come to specialise in the design, supply and erection of complex timber and glulam roof structures.

Our reputation is unrivalled within our industry. We are proud to be known for our market leading approach to timber engineering, extensive product knowledge and excellence in design and workmanship.

We are constantly expanding our business and have grown, over the the past years, to establish roof truss manufacturing facilities across the UK. And with manufacturing facilities now operating from Bo'ness, Birmingham, Northern Ireland and Canterbury, we are able to offer our clients an extensive range of engineered wood products and services at full national coverage.
